Bagged Trash Pickup
Overflow bags from a full bin, move-day boxes, and everyday household waste staged at the curb or driveway.
When the bin is full or the city will not take it, set it outside. Our route-based crew picks up bagged trash, bulky items, brush, and curbside piles without turning a simple pickup into a whole-house project.
Trash It KC is the practical answer for waste already at the curb, in the driveway, or beside the garage. Backed by Dump It KC, we collect bagged household overflow, mattresses and other bulky set-outs, brush, rental-turnover bags, and post-event cleanup piles. Book a route stop or call 816-920-0291 to see whether same-day pickup is open.
This is hauling for material that is already outside—not a room-by-room cleanout. Stack the bags, set the bulk item by the curb, gather the brush, or point us to the rental-turnover pile. We work a 15-yard trailer route across the metro and load the outdoor waste that needs to move now.

A mattress, broken patio set, or other large set-out gets one practical pickup instead of waiting on a special city collection.
Put the pile where our trailer can reach it, confirm the details, and we load it on an available Kansas City route.

Schedule PickupThe difference is where the material starts. Junk removal is for possessions still inside; trash hauling is for a prepared outdoor pile. Choosing the right lane keeps a pickup simple, gives the crew the right information, and gets the trailer to your stop faster.
Junk removal starts indoors. A crew enters the home or another structure, carries out items, and handles an interior clearout. It is the better choice when the work begins behind a door rather than at the curb.
Trash hauling starts with a staged outdoor load. Bags, brush, bulky pieces, and overflow are already curbside, driveway-side, or in another accessible exterior spot, ready for a trailer route stop.
Already outside? That is the Trash It KC lane. Send a photo, set the pile where we can reach it, and we will match it to an available route without asking you to turn a curbside haul into a full cleanout.
Pile ready at the curb? Claim a route stop and let the trailer do the rest.
A practical haul should not require a sales pitch or a week of waiting. We quote from the pile, build stops around the day’s route, and focus on what you need gone: accessible, non-hazardous waste already set outside.
We carry the business coverage property managers and HOAs may need documented before a scheduled exterior pickup.
Same-day is possible when there is room on the active route; otherwise we offer the next practical pickup window.
Show us the pile before loading. Your quote accounts for the space it takes, with disposal weight handled as described in the booking details.
This service is purpose-built for curbside piles, driveway stacks, brush, and bagged overflow—not an inside-house removal job.

Need the pile gone? Send a photo of the outdoor set-out and we will help you find the right pickup window.
Customers call us when the normal bin is not enough and they want a direct answer about an outdoor pile. These highlights reflect the kind of curbside, bulky-waste, and overflow jobs that keep Kansas City routes moving.
“Booked online at 8 AM, the crew was in my driveway by 11 AM. They cleared out an entire basement of furniture, bagged debris, and three old televisions in under two hours. The price they quoted on the phone was the price I paid. Easiest cleanout I’ve ever scheduled in Kansas City.”
“Used Trash It KC after a kitchen remodel left me with a mountain of cabinets, drywall, and tile in my driveway. Their trailer pulled up, two haulers loaded everything in about 90 minutes, and they swept the driveway clean. Honest, hardworking crew will be calling them again for our basement project next month.”
“My elderly father needed his garage cleared out before we listed his house. The Trash It KC team was patient, polite, and protective of his belongings. They donated reusable furniture for us, recycled the metal, and texted a photo when the trailer was empty. Highly recommended for any Kansas City family in transition.”

Stretch your dollars by knowing how the pros pack a 15-yard trailer. This downloadable PDF walks you through the same loading patterns Trash It KC crews use every day to fit more into a quarter-load and finish a half-load before the meter runs over. Whether you’re the one helping out or just want to know what’s coming, this guide answers the most-asked Kansas City questions about what fits, what stacks, and what stays out of the trailer.
Everything here is about outdoor, ready-to-load trash. For a pile-specific answer, call 816-920-0291 or send photos with your booking request.
We pick up non-hazardous material that is already outside and ready to load: tied trash bags, boxes, curbside bulk items, brush, garage or shed set-outs, and overflow left after a regular collection day. A quick photo helps us match the trailer space and route to your pile.
A pickup starts at $150. A small quarter-trailer load can begin at that minimum, while a full 15-yard trailer can run up to $900; the final price reflects volume and disposal weight. The first 1,000 pounds is included, and additional disposal weight is $100 per 1,000 pounds from the certified scale ticket.
Cash, credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal all work. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee that covers what the processor charges us; paying cash or through a bank app skips it. We do not accept personal checks. Payment is due once the haul is finished — collected at the curb if you are there, or run on the card from your booking with your authorization when the pickup is unattended. Every job has a $150 minimum.
Yes. Place securely tied bags where the trailer can reach them—at the curb, driveway edge, or another agreed outdoor spot. Keep the pile away from parked vehicles, gates, and low branches so loading is quick and the route stays on schedule.
Yes. Mattresses, boxed household goods, worn-out patio pieces, broken grills, and other large curbside items are common pickups. Send a photo of unusually heavy or oversized pieces before booking so we can plan the right loading setup.
Yes. Bundle branches when practical and keep brush separate from bagged household trash. We can remove limbs, shrub trimmings, leaves, and storm debris that have been staged at the curb, driveway, or alley access point.
We can remove the excess bags and loose, non-hazardous household waste that your regular collection left behind. Put the material together in an accessible outdoor spot, then tell us whether there are bags, boxes, or bulky pieces in the pile.
Not usually. If the materials are clearly staged outside and we have agreed on the scope and price, a curbside pickup can be completed without you there. Keep your phone available in case the driver needs to confirm an item or access detail.
Trash It KC is designed for already-staged outdoor loads, not inside-the-home removal. For belongings that must be carried out of a house, basement, or attic, use the dedicated Junk It KC service so the right crew and scope can be arranged.
Yes. We haul bagged tenant leave-behinds, patio set-outs, and curbside turnover piles from apartments and rental homes. Property managers can send photos and access notes so a unit or exterior set-out can be placed on a route quickly.
Yes. HOA boards and neighborhood managers can arrange a pickup window for approved curbside piles. Share the expected number of homes, dates, and material types so we can plan trailer capacity and a practical collection route.
Yes. Weekly, biweekly, and monthly hauling can work for properties that regularly exceed their bin capacity or need an extra bulk-waste option. We will build a route cadence around the pickup location and typical pile size.
Yes. Bagged event waste, disposable décor, and non-hazardous cleanup piles can be collected after the guests are gone. Let us know the event end time, pickup location, and approximate number of bags so we can schedule the right route slot.
We cannot take hazardous waste, including liquids, wet paint, fuels, motor oil, solvents, asbestos, medical sharps, ammunition, propane tanks, or chemical containers. If an item is questionable, text a photo before setting it out rather than mixing it into the pile.
Same-day service may be available when your address fits the active route and there is room on the trailer. Otherwise, most outdoor pickups are scheduled within 24 to 72 hours. Booking early gives us the best chance to add your stop that day.
Our routes cover the Kansas City metro in Missouri and Kansas, from the Northland and eastern suburbs through Johnson County and the south metro. Check the service-area grid or send your address when you request a pickup window.
Bag loose household garbage, separate brush from other waste, and place the pile outside where the trailer can approach safely. Do not block sidewalks, mailboxes, hydrants, or driveways. Photos and an estimated bag count help us quote and route the haul accurately.
Bag it, stack it, or leave the bulky item at the curb. We will match your outdoor pile to a Kansas City route and get it off your property without the hassle of a rental container.
